I have been in the Home Renovation and Decorating field for the past 20 years, the last 16 of which spent with Avey Drywall.
 Over the course of those years I have seen many projects come together, and few fall apart.
I wanted to start Design On A Dime Renovations not only to make renovations more affordable, but also to listen to the client and take into consideration what they wish to have done. Then, if possible we make their renovation dream a reality.
I have lived in the Quinte area my entire life, and know that “word of mouth” is your best advertising.
With that in mind, my goal with Design On A Dime Renovations is simple - to ensure that your next project, large or small, finishes in a timely fashion. We want you to be 100% satisfied.
I will work with you to design your project, set a time line for work completion, providing you with a “what to expect” outline, and keeping you up to date on our progress.
After all, I take a lot of pride in the work I do, but at the end of the day, YOU the customer have to be happy, as this is your home.

My name is Tony, and I thoroughly enjoy working in the Home Renovation field.
 As fate may have it, I previously worked along side Jim for 4 years at Avery Drywall, before I decided to part for a career change.
When I heard that Jim decided to start this company, I wanted to be a part of it.
With Jim’s work ethic, values, and customer satisfaction, reflecting my own I knew that this was a “different” approach to Home Renovation.
I feel that not only do you take pride in what you do, but you must have a good “working environment”, and great customer relations.
This will always be key to what we offer and will be reflected in what we do at Design On A Dime Renovations.

Matthew Wiggins - Associate
I currently attend Mohawk College in Hamilton Ontario.
I am enrolled in the “Building and Renovation Technician” course, and will be graduating this April.
 During the past 2 years, I have been able to gain the much needed “hands on” training through schooling, demonstration courses, and projects designed to maximize my knowledge of building and renovating.
I am also very proud to say that I assisted with Habitat For Humanity, along with my classmates, in building a home for those less fortunate.
I have been employed for the past 2 years with Efficient Pools here in Hamilton.
I am looking forward to joining the Design On A Dime Renovations team, and putting my skills, and knowledge to work.
More importantly, I am looking forward to learning more from Jim and Tony, and working with them to ensure your next home renovation is all that you wanted it to be.

Tony Brennen - Associate
Hi, I am Jim’s younger brother, and I have been assisting Jim on his projects for some 10 years now.
 Even though I am employed full-time with Erb Transport - in Trenton, I find great pleasure in working both with my brother, and with taking a project from a raw stage, and making the clients aspirations come true.
I am very proud to say that I will be a Part-time member of the DOAD Team, and look forward to making your next Home Renovation as beautiful, and successful as those I have seen in the past.
